Blues & Twos Credit Union has reported a strong start to 2026, with positive results shared at its recent Annual General Meeting demonstrating continued growth in both savings and lending activity across the membership.
Outlined in the organisation’s Spring 2026 Member Update, highlighted increasing member confidence in the credit union, with more members choosing to save regularly while also accessing affordable borrowing options designed to support financial wellbeing during challenging economic times.
The AGM reflected on encouraging financial performance during the opening months of the year, alongside continued investment in member services and product development. Growth in savings balances and loan uptake reinforced the organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting emergency service personnel and their families through ethical, member-focused financial services.
Speaking following the AGM, Chief Executive, Vicky Harrison said: “We are delighted with the progress made in these first months of the year, with more members choosing to save with us and access affordable credit, demonstrating the trust you place in our products and services. Our aim remains to support you and your colleagues in building long-term financial resilience, and these results give us confidence as we look ahead to the rest of the year.”
Alongside celebrating the organisation’s positive performance, Blues & Twos also recognised the dedication and commitment of colleagues reaching significant long-service milestones.
A huge congratulations was given to CEO Vicky Harrison on an incredible 26 years of service — an outstanding achievement and a true testament to her dedication and commitment to both the organisation and its members.
Recognition was also given to Anna Watson for her continued hard work and contribution to managing the team across 18 years of service.
Congratulations were also shared with Charlotte Fairclough for 17 years of service and Lisa Ogdin for 13 years of service, recognising the important role both colleagues continue to play within the organisation.
The celebrations also highlighted Lydia Hall’s development journey within Blues & Twos, progressing from Apprentice to Team Leader over five years of service – reflecting the organisation’s commitment to staff development and investing in people to help meet the evolving needs of members.
Vicky Harrison added: “This positive performance reflects our team’s continued commitment to helping members achieve financial wellbeing through competitive products and tailored support, and the early momentum reinforces our strong, member-centred focus.”
