All Together Money was proud to join credit union leaders from across North America and beyond at ENGAGE 2026, the annual conference hosted by The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates in the United States.
Representing the British credit union movement, Chief Executive Matt Bland attended the event as part of a delegation of All Together Money member credit unions, sharing insights from Great Britain’s credit union sector while exploring opportunities for greater international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
A highlight of the conference saw Matt take part in the Domestic & Global Advocacy Panel, where he discussed advocacy, innovation and the evolving role of credit unions in supporting members and communities. During the session, he provided delegates with an overview of the opportunities and challenges facing the British credit union sector, including ongoing work around credit union reform, the development of the Mutuals and Co-operatives Council, and the impact of initiatives such as the Fair4All Finance funding programmes.
The discussion also explored how credit union movements around the world are responding to changing consumer needs, embracing innovation and working with policymakers to create a stronger operating environment for mutual financial institutions.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for All Together Money to strengthen relationships with international partners while showcasing the progress being made across the British movement.
Matt Bland, Chief Executive of All Together Money, said: “I would like to thank The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates for their invitation and for delivering such an outstanding conference. ENGAGE continues to provide a fantastic platform for collaboration, innovation and the sharing of ideas across the global credit union movement.
“The relationships built through events like this are incredibly important. They create lasting friendships and partnerships that benefit not only All Together Money, but also the members and credit unions we represent. It has been particularly pleasing to see a number of our members attending this year’s conference and engaging with colleagues from across the world.
“While our movements operate in different environments, many of the challenges and opportunities we face are shared. By learning from one another and working together, we can continue to strengthen the credit union sector and deliver even greater value to our members and communities.”
Through participation in international events such as ENGAGE, All Together Money remains committed to ensuring the voices of British credit unions are heard on the global stage while bringing back new ideas,
